"Wii Fit," Nintendo's personal trainer-in-a-box, will be available May 19 for $89.99, the publisher announced Tuesday.
"Wii Fit" includes both the game and the unique Balance Board peripheral. The game features several different exercises, yoga positions and mini-games designed to help gamers build strength and balance and improve overall fitness. Think of it as "Brain Age" for your body. The Balance Board can calculate your weight and Body Mass Index, as well as detect changes in your balance.
Already a smash hit in Japan, "Wii Fit" will likely become the must-have video game of 2008. Well aware of its potential popularity, Nintendo is hoping to have one million units available at launch.
