The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is searching for two suspects after arresting one person regarding a beating and robbery that occurred late Friday night.
Ashley Elizabeth Stamper, 23, told deputies she was beaten and bound while two acquaintances and an unknown female stole electronics from her residence on Victoria Road between Dunbar and Cross Lanes on Friday, according to Lt. Sean Crosier of the sheriff's department.
Deputies arrested Keith Allen Haynes, 24, of West Washington Street, after he turned himself in Wednesday morning, according to the sheriff's department.
Stamper said acquaintances Haynes and William Charles Landon VI, 23, of 1305 West Virginia Ave. in Dunbar came to her home with an unknown black female known as "Rocky." Stamper heard Landon tell "Rocky" to steal the television and Stamper became upset, according to the sheriff's department.
Stamper said the three suspects began beating her in the face and choking her before tying her hands and placing a sock in her mouth while they stole electronic items.
She freed herself about 20 minutes later and ran outside for help. Stamper was transported to CAMC Women's and Children's hospital with bruising, swelling to the face and neck and a puncture wound supposedly from being stabbed in the hand by Landon, according to the sheriff's department.
The sheriff's department continues to search for Landon and to identify "Rocky."
