MT. NEBO, W.Va. -- A Gilmer County man was killed on Wednesday after his car collided with a pickup truck on U.S. 19 near Mt. Nebo in Nicholas County, sheriff's deputies said.
Fredrick Nutter, 56, of Glenville, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Nicholas sheriff's accident report.
Nutter's car collided with a truck driven by Mark McClung, 57, of Mount Lookout. McClung was taken to Summersville Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
A passenger in Nutter's car, Debra Ford, 52, of Davisville, was also injured in accident, according to the report.
A HealthNet helicopter flew Ford to CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, where she was in serious condition this morning.
