SMITHERS -- A landslide near the Montgomery bridge closed U.S. 60 Monday evening, but the road was partially reopened as of 8:30 p.m., according to a Kanawha County 911 dispatcher.
The landslide sent car-hood-sized boulders onto the roadway and left large tree limbs hanging over the area about 4 p.m., said a dispatcher with Fayette County 911.
One lane of the road was open and traffic was moving in both directions, dispatchers said.
