Area roundup: WVU women's soccer announces 10 recruits

The West Virginia women's soccer team announced the addition of 10 new players signed for the 2013 season, including former Capital goalkeeper Michelle Newhouse.

Joining Newhouse will be midfielder Bryce Banuelos (Elmhurts, Ill.), midfielder Tessa Broadwater (Midlothian, Va.), defender Kadeisha Buchanan (Brampton, Ontario), defender Sarah Howley (Dallas), goalkeeper Haley Keefer (Grand Blanc, Mich.), forward Ashley Lawrence (Toronto), forward Daniela Neves (Springfield, Va.), forward Amandine Pierre-Louis (Montreal) and midfielder/defender Ashley Woolpert (Springboro, Ohio).

  • SOCCER CLINIC: The West Virginia men's soccer team will host a pair of free skills clinics from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 and March 2 at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility in Morgantown.
