Falcons sign Rader
Advertiser

Former St. Albans and Marshall tight end Jason Rader has been re-signed by the Atlanta Falcons, where he help out on special teams and be the team's third tight end.

Rader took the roster spot of linebacker Tony Gilbert, who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. He'll also take the place of tight end Justin Peelle, who is expected to miss the next game with a concussion.

In his fourth season, Rader has played 11 games with either the Falcons or Miami Dolphins. He had one catch for 26 yards in 2008 for Atlanta, with a lost fumble.
