  • Hunting and Fishing Expo: Logan County's Chief Logan Conference Center will be the venue for this year's Chief Logan Hunting and Fishing Expo.
  • The two-day exhibition will take place Aug. 24 and 25 at the conference center, located just off Corridor G between Chapmanville and Logan.

This year's headliners will include Ron and Amy Shirley of TruTV's hit reality show, "Lizard Lick Towing." Both the Shirleys are bowhunters and are members of the celebrity Bowtech team. They will be on hand to greet fans on both days of the expo.

Winfield archer Frank Addington Jr., the "Aspirin Buster," will demonstrate "bow-and-arrow razzle-dazzle," which includes a behind-the-back shot that splits an aspirin in mid-air.

Other newcomers include Kenny and Aharon Davis of Appalachian Big Game TV and Tachycardia Outdoors, who will make a presentation on hunting Appalachian whitetails; and Bill Carman of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, who will give presentations on elk and elk hunting.

    Admission to the show is $5. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 24, and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 25.
