WILLIAMSON, W.Va. -- Two Mingo County men are in jail in connection with an alleged weekend sexual assault in Williamson.
Jerry Lee Fields, 21, of Williamson, and Jimmy Ray Hatfield, 26, of Rawl, are accused of tying up and sexually assaulting a man on Sunday in Williamson.
According to criminal complaints on file in Mingo County Magistrate Court, Fields tied the man up with extension cords around his genitals and repeatedly kicked him in the head. After the victim passed out, he was sexually assaulted, the complaint alleges.
Hatfield shot still photographs and videotape of the assault, according to the criminal complaint.
Fields was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, abduction and malicious wounding. Hatfield was charged with being an accessory to the assault.
Both men were in the Southwestern Regional Jail on Tuesday on $300,000 bond each. If they do make bond, Fields and Hatfield will be placed on home confinement.
