Man arrested for stealing almost $10,000 worth of copper wire

CABIN CREEK, W.Va. -- A Kanawha County man was arrested for stealing almost $10,000 worth of copper wire over several days from Verizon and AT&T Mobile Communications in Cabin Creek.
Michael Craig Jarrell, 23, of Gallagher allegedly stole the copper wire, which has an estimated value of $8,000 to $10,000, on several occasions between Nov. 5 and Nov. 13.
Jarrell was already in Southern Regional Jail on Monday for previous criminal charges in Fayette County. He was released Monday evening, according to a booking clerk at the jail.
