WEST UNION, W.Va. - A 68-year-old Doddridge County man was charged with child abuse over the weekend.

William Dallas Holden, of Greenwood, was charged with one count of child abuse by a custodian, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and five counts of using obscene matter with the intent of seducing a minor, said State Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Baylous.

Corporal A.W. Scott of the State Police Child Protection Division arrested Holden about 11 a.m. Friday, Baylous said.

Baylous said the alleged abuse took place in Holden's home. Both victims were family members, and both were juveniles when the alleged crimes occurred.

Holden was free Monday on $160,000 bond.
