CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Georgia man was stabbed Tuesday night at the Greyhound bus station in Charleston.
Dennis Taylor, 38, of Coolidge, Ga., was waiting for a bus at the Greyhound station on Reynolds Street at about 9:10 p.m. when he was approached by a black man and a white man who asked him for money, said Sgt. Eric Hodges of the Charleston Police Department.
When he said he had no money, Taylor said the two men attacked him. During the scuffle, Taylor was cut in the abdomen, Hodges said.
The two men then ran off toward the Charleston Civic Center. Hodges said they did not succeed in robbing Taylor.
The men were last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirts.
