Man stole cash from St. Albans pizza place, police say

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police in St. Albans are looking for a man who stole cash from a pizza restaurant on Wednesday.

At about 9 p.m., a man walked into Larobi's Pizza located along U.S. 60 and ordered food. When an employee was in the back making the food, the man opened the cash register and stole most the money inside, according to a news release issued by St. Albans Police Capt. James Agee.

The man left the store and got in a car headed west on U.S. 60. The man is described a white male in his early 30s with short, light-colored hair. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 140 lbs. He was wearing a gray t-shirt.

The car is described as a Mini-Cooper that is either white or silver with a large blue racing stripe running along the middle of the hood and roof.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
