Kanawha deputies seek suspects in stolen check case
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Kanawha County sheriff's deputies are seeking the identity of two men accused of passing stolen checks last month.
Deputies began investigating after stolen checks were allegedly cashed at a 7-Eleven in Elkview last month, Cpl. Brian Humphreys said in a news release. Humphreys released store security photos of the men on Monday.
One suspect is wearing a blue West Virginia University sweatshirt with a camouflage coat and the other suspect is wearing a blue coat and red hat, according to the release. Deputies from Jackson County are also working on the case.
