Man reported shot in Boone County

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Two Boone County men were sent to the hospital Thursday night, after one was shot and another struck with a vehicle.

A man was shot in the Williams Mountain area three times around 9:30 p.m. -- twice in the back and once in the arm. Another man in the area was hit by a Jeep around the same time.

The events appeared to be connected, according to a dispatcher with the Boone County Emergency Management Agency.

The men were transported to CAMC General, and the extent of injuries was still unknown around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
