Police chase ends in crash in Alum Creek

ALUM CREEK, W.Va. -- A multi-agency police chase along Corridor G ended in a crash near Alum Creek on Thursday.

Boone County Sheriff's dispatchers said deputies tried to pull over a vehicle along U.S. 119 before 4 p.m. that was allegedly reported stolen.

State Police, Lincoln County deputies, Kanawha County deputies and Charleston police eventually joined the pursuit.

The driver crashed and rolled over near Sand Plant Road at about 4:30 p.m., Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers said. The suspect was not injured. Boone dispatchers said police were still interviewing the suspect and were not immediately sure what charges he would face Thursday night. No police officers were injured.
