KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: 1:30 p.m., Coonskin Park. Meet at 1:30 p.m. to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at swimming pool parking lot. The hike is 3 to 4 miles along Elk River, nature trail, and adjunct areas on easy trails with moderate grade.

"EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL" AUDITIONS: Noon to 4 p.m., Kanawha Players Theater, 309 Beauregard St. The show is a campy rock musical based on the cult classic horror film series.
