Attorney General Darrell McGraw will have representatives from the Attorney General's Office from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Larry Joe Harless Community Center, 202 Larry Joe Harless Drive, Gilbert. The representatives will provide information and assistance on applying for loan modifications, refinancing for "underwater" loans, halting the foreclosure process, safeguards for service members, new loan servicing standards and other mortgage relief. Those needing assistance should bring all documentation.
MountainHeart Child Care Resources and Referral Services will conduct a professional development session from 11 a.m. to 3 pm. Tuesday at the Fayette County Department of Health and Human Resources in Oak Hill. Family day care providers, facility providers and day care center staff are encouraged to attend the session. Charleston Area Alliance is accepting submissions for the downtown dining guide that is published annually by the Alliance and distributed to visitors and local residents enjoying FestivALL activities. The handout highlights extended hours and food and beverage specials that may be offered during June 15-24. Downtown restaurants and related establishments are encouraged to forward updated information about special hours and/or menu options available during FestivALL for inclusion in this special guide.
