CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Putnam County man was sentenced Monday in federal court to two years in prison for aggravated identity theft, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.

Justin Bailey, 21, of Poca, pleaded guilty to the charge in August.

Bailey used the name and identification of another person to apply online for credit cards in March and April 2008, according to the news release. Bailey ran up more than $10,000 in bogus charges.

Bailey also used the victim's identity to obtain bank loans and credit totaling more than $48,000.

As part of the sentence, U.S. District Judge Robert C. Chambers ordered Bailey to pay restitution to the victims of his scheme.

In a separate case, a Huntington woman pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute crack cocaine.

Tracy Robbins, 31, admitted that she participated in a conspiracy to sell the drug in the Huntington and Beckley areas, the release states.

Robbins faces up to life in prison when sentenced by Chambers on Feb. 22.

In a separate case, a Canadian woman was sentenced to 15 months in prison for possessing cocaine with intent to distribute.

Tiffany Lyn Wilson, 23, of Ontario, pleaded guilty in August, admitting that she and her boyfriend, Gino Andrea Washington, traveled from Canada to West Virginia to sell crack and oxycodone pills, according to the release.
