CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Two men were sentenced in federal court Thursday to prison in separate child pornography cases, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.
Telford Cruikshank Jr., 42, who pleaded guilty in May to possessing child pornography, was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Joseph R. Goodwin to two years in prison. Goodwin also ordered Cruikshank to spend 15 years on supervised release following his prison sentence.
Cruikshank paid for a subscription to two Web sites that hosted child pornography, the news release states. Investigators later found images he downloaded from the sites on his work computer, the release states.
In a separate case, a Nicholas County man was sentenced to 30 months in prison for possessing child pornography.
Chad Nesselrotte, 29, of Leivasy, pleaded guilty to the charge in April.
Nesselrotte also subscribed to pay Web sites, and investigators found hundreds of images on his home computer, according to the release.
Goodwin also ordered Nesselrotte to spend 15 years on supervised release after he gets out of prison.
On Tuesday, a federal grand jury indicted Stacey Nichole Farmer, also known as "Stacey Wright," on charges of coercing a minor into engaging in sexual activity.
Farmer, 32, of Cucumber, allegedly produced and distributed child pornography, according to the three-count indictment.
If convicted, Farmer faces up to 80 years in prison.
Also Tuesday, a grand jury indicted two Virginia men on charges that they had marijuana inside the federal prison in Beckley.
If convicted, Terrence White, 33, of Chase City, and Roderick Calloway Jr. face up to five years in prison.
On Wednesday, an Alkol man pleaded guilty to stealing 13 guns from a residence in Lincoln County in 2008.
Joshua David Weddington, 29, also admitted that he stole guns in June 2006 and October 2008, the release states.
Weddington faces up to 10 years in prison when sentenced by U.S. District Judge John T. Copenhaver Jr. on Feb. 17.
