Kanawha Trail Club: will sponsor a hike at noon Sunday at New River National River -- endless wall trail. Carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at New River Visitors Center by bridge at 1:45 p.m. The hike is about 4.5 miles on moderate terrain with possibility of muddy trail. For more information call 304-344-3779.

They include: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Poca High School, W.Va. 62, Poca; 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Catholic Church of the Ascension, 905 Hickory Mill Road, Hurricane; 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday, South Charleston Library, 314 Fourth Ave.; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13, Charleston Catholic High School, 1033 Virginia St. E.; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nov. 13, Montgomery General Hospital, 401 Sixth Ave., Montgomery.

West Side Main Street: will have its annual meeting and silent auction on Tuesday at the Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority, 1525 Washington St. W. Enter from Seventh Avenue and Stockton Street.
