West Virginians for Life's: 11th annual Pro-Life Dinner will be held Thursday at Lakeview Resort and Conference Center in Morgantown. The reception begins at 6 p.m. with the dinner promptly at 7 p.m. Keynote speaker will be Population Research Institute President Steven Mosher, an internationally recognized authority on China and population issues. Dr. Wanda Franz, president of the National Right to Life Committee, will also speak. Tyler Mountain Volunteer Fire Department: will sponsor a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tyler Mountain Community Building, located at 5380 Big Tyler Mountain Road, adjacent to the fire department.

Charleston Coin Club: will have its annual coin show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Charleston Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive. Admission is free. Coin dealers will buy, sell and trade coins, stamps, currency, jewelry, ball cards, coal company scrip and tokens.

Rough-and-Rowdy 4-H Club: will have a fundraiser from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Buffalo Diner, W.Va. 62, across from Buffalo High School. The menu includes open-face roast beef sandwich or pork loin; two sides (mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, buttered corn or baked beans) tossed salad, drinks and dessert for $8 plus tax.

The Putnam County Democrat Club: will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the old courthouse at Winfield. Delegate Brady Paxton will be guest speaker. Plans will be made for the Christmas dinner, which will be held Dec. 7. Voting on the club's Democrat of the Year will be held. New members are welcome. Membership is $5. Bring a covered dish.

Al-Anon will have open meetings at 8 p.m. Tuesdays, St. John's Episcopal Church Parish House, 1105 Quarrier St.; 7 p.m. Thursdays, St. Christopher's Episcopal, 819 Somerset Drive, Edgewood; and 7 p.m. Sundays, study group, First Presbyterian, 508 Second Ave., South Charleston.
