CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil-water advisory for customers along a section of W.Va. 21 in Sissonville.

The affected area stretches from the Pocatalico exit to Haines Branch Road and includes the following streets: Shirkey Lane, Tolley Hollow, Long Meadow Park, Grapevine Road, Renard Street and Second Creek Road.

Crews are working to fix a water main break. Customers should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
