CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil-water advisory for a portion of Boone County.

The affected customers are those in the communities of Van, Gordon, Uneeda and Twilight who have experienced loss of water or low water pressure caused by a water leak.

Customers should boil their water for one full minute prior to use until further notice.
