Kanawha health department schedules swine flu clinics

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department and its partners will be providing H1N1 vaccinations to children in the following schools this week:

Tuesday: King Center Daycare

Wednesday: Watts, Flinn, Robins and St. Anthony elementary schools

Thursday: Grandview and Chandler elementary schools

Friday: Piedmont and Glenwood elementary schools and Vista View Pre-School

 

In addition to the school clinics, the Health Department will hold the following clinics:

A clinic for chronically ill adults, between the ages of 19 to 64: Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Health Department, 108 Lee St. E.

A clinic for children who are not currently enrolled in school or home-schooled as well as those in the Charleston daycares and preschools: Thursday, 3 to 6 p.m.

The Health Department is planning to continue its H1N1 vaccination clinics at the Health Department for pregnant women and children with chronic illnesses each Thursday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
