CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Development Office plans to lead a group of eight companies on a trade mission to China.
The group will attend the China Coal & Mining exhibition, one of the world's largest events of its kind. The exhibition attracts more than 300 companies from 17 countries. This year's show will take place later this month in Beijing.
"Building relationships is a crucial element of building business in much of the world," said Commerce Secretary Kelley Goes. "The Development Office organizes trade missions such as this because they are instrumental in enabling West Virginia businesses to form relationships with prospective customers, agents and representatives in the global market."
Firms exhibiting with the Development Office are: ChemBio Shelter Inc. of Beaver; ConveyWeigh of Dunbar; Eastern Mining & Industrial Supply of Chapmanville; Lifepod International of Midway; Petitto Mine Equipment Inc. of Morgantown; Phillips Machine Service of Beckley; Preiser Scientific of Saint Albans; and Tabor Machine Co. of Princeton.
