South Charleston Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at FASTSIGNS, 5137 MacCorkle Ave., South Charleston. Covenant House and East End Main Street will have a "Main Street Murder Mystery" benefit at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Charleston Woman's Club. Tickets are $35 and are available at Bluegrass Kitchen. Tickets include hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

Charleston Town Center Mall will have Wee Trick-or-Treat from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday in Macy's Court. A Halloween costume contest will be held at 7 p.m., hosted by Electric 102.7. Picture People will be taking photos near Center Court beginning at 5 p.m. For prices, call 304-345-8966.

Carroll Terrace will have trick-or-treating for the public from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the complex's community garden on Virginia Street East. Carroll Terrace residents and garden participants will be handing out candy to area youths and offering the neighborhood a chance to tour the garden. West Virginia State University will show the film "The Music Within," starring Ron Livingston, at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 134 of the WVSU Student Union.
