Ansted: A costume judging will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Gazebo, weather permitting.
Chesapeake: Party will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chesapeake Community Building.
Gauley Bridge: Dance will be held at 7 p.m. and a Haunted House from 6 to 8 p.m., Gauley Bridge Community Center (former Gauley Bridge High School).
Glasgow: Treats will be given out from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Community Center.
Handley: Party from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Handley Community Center.
Pratt: Party for children from 7 to 8 p.m. in the old town hall; Party for teens will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the new Municipal building.
The Haunted Halls: 6 to 10 p.m., Oct. 28 and 29; and 6 to midnight (or later) Oct. 30 and 31, former Fairview Elementary School, High Street, St. Albans. Admission is $6. Guests bringing a canned food donation receive a discount. Slogan is "We do what you fear!" Additional events: Hearse Club will be in attendance with many restored hearses to view. Snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase. All ages are welcome. The event is presented by the Tornado and West Side volunteer fire departments.
