CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Lincoln County man pleaded guilty in federal court on Friday to distributing child pornography.
Robert Dale Eady, 43, of Branchland, admitted that in August 2008, he produced several images of a child under 12 years of age engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Eady had more than 600 images and videos on his computer depicting child pornography; many depicted prepubescent minors, and some included sadistic or masochistic conduct, according to the release.
Some of the images and videos also depicted children identified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Those were produced outside West Virginia.
Eady faces at least five years and up to 20 years in prison when sentenced Jan. 12 by U.S. District Judge John T. Copenhaver Jr., followed by a lifetime of supervision after his release. The FBI handled the investigation.
