St. Albans resident named director of Western District WVDAR
Kay Craig of St. Albans was recently named new director of the West Virginia Western District, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She will begin her term in the new year.
A St. Albans High School graduate, Craig previous served as Regent of the Anne Bailey Chapter, NSDAR, 1988-2004. For the past 10 years she has been chairman of the Chapter's Good Citizens Committee. In addition to chapter involvement, she has served as WVDAR State Chairman of Commemorative Events for six years.
The state's Western District is composed of the following chapters: Anne Bailey, William Morris, Kanawha Valley and John Young, all of Charleston; Buford, Huntington; Col. Charles Lewis, Point Pleasant; Westmoreland, Ceredo; and Barboursville.
