Two Ohio motorcyclists injured in Fayette wreck

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Two Ohio residents on a motorcycle were injured Saturday in Fayette County when the motorcycle they were riding ran off the road on U.S. 60 near Ansted.

According to Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler, John Woerlein was traveling east on U.S. 60 with several other motorcyclists.

Woerlein, 52, of Raymond, Ohio, apparently ran off the road, lost control in the gravel and overturned.

His passenger, Margaret Johnson, 51, of London, Ohio, was also injured. 

Both were taken to Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.

The accident happened about 12:22 p.m. Saturday.
