Clendenin, Hinton projects get $2.5 million in stimulus funds

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia is receiving $2.5 million in federal stimulus funding for rural development projects in Clendenin and Hinton.

Members of West Virginia's congressional delegation announced the funding Thursday.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development released $1.4 million for construction of a new fire station in Hinton. Clendenin will receive $1.14 million to renovate a health clinic.
