HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Film Office is sponsoring a workshop to help communities recruit more film production to the state.

The workshop is scheduled for July 10 at the Pullman Plaza Hotel in Huntington. The workshop is free and open to the public.

Director Pam Haynes says community leaders need to be prepared when their region is chosen for filming.

Previous workshops have been held in Charleston, Follansbee, Lost River, Martinsburg, Weirton and Wheeling.
