FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- A 44-year-old man from Marion County has been arrested in the alleged sending of obscene photos to a 17-year-old girl via his cell phone.

Joseph B. McKinney of Worthington was arrested on Thursday after police learned that he had sent obscene photos of his genitals to a juvenile between May and June 2009, according to the criminal complaint for the Marion County Magistrate Court.

Both McKinney and the juvenile said they had been having text messaging conversations over the two-month period, according to the complaint.

McKinney is charged with one count of distribution and display of obscene matter to a minor.
