WINFIELD, W.Va. -- A Putnam County man has been charged with an additional two counts -- his sixth charge since last week -- of felony sexual abuse.
Patrick Glen Moore, 41, of Poca, was charged Wednesday with sexual abuse in the second degree and sexual abuse by a parent or guardian.
Moore was originally arrested June 22 and charged with four felony sexual abuse counts and with allegedly trying to run over a Hurricane police officer during a traffic stop on June 14.
Moore appeared in Putnam County Magistrate Court Wednesday, on misdemeanor charges of assault on an officer, fleeing in a vehicle, improper passing, failure to stop/yield, reckless driving and registration violation.
Magistrate Kylene Dunlap Brown dismissed the charges at the request of the county prosecutors and the Sheriff's Department because the additional felony charges of sexual abuse were being filed against Moore.
Moore allegedly has been abusing a 16- and a 15-year-old girl for five years, according to the criminal complaint for the original four charges filed in magistrate court on June 22.
He allegedly showed the girls pornographic movies and had sex with them while the other was present, according to the criminal complaint.

He was sentenced to one to five years in prison on that charge, and served 2 1/2 years.
Moore was again arrested in June 2008 for failure to properly register as a sex offender.
In May 1993, Moore pleaded guilty to felony arson charges. He was placed on five years of probation.
Last week, Moore's bond was set at $100,000. On Wednesday, his bond was set at $50,000. Moore is being held at the Western Regional Jail.
