The Fourth Annual Gospel Singin' at the Lake, Sing No. 1 will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 27 at the Mountain Lake Campground Amphitheater located on Airport Road at Summersville Lake (between the airport and marina. In case of rain, the sing will be moved under the pavilion. Local groups will be singing and admission is free. Seating is available or bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Food and refreshments will be available. The sing is presented by REACH By FAITH Ministries.

Summersville Sings the Gospel Freedom Sing will be held at 7 p.m. July 3 in the Old Main Building Auditorium in Summersville. The annual gospel sing will celebrate the freedom of God and country by honoring veterans and those active in the military with music featuring Allen and Christina Underwood, the Pomeroys, Gloryroad Travelers and Freedom Gospel Choir. The sing, presented by Reach by Faith Ministries, is free and a love offering will be received.

Walk for Jesus Rally will be held at 8:30 a.m. on July 11 at Shawnee Park in Dunbar. Participants will walk and fellowship together for Christ. All are welcome. Songer (Spaceman), a terminal cancer patient, will be begin at noon on July 11 at Loudendale Freewill Baptist Church, which is located on the left a half mile before the entrance to Kanawha State Forest. The fundraising event, sponsored by Carolyn Billanti and co-workers at Focus One Inc., and will include complimentary food and beverage.
