WEST VIRGINIA POWER YARD SALE: 9 a.m. to noon, Appalachian Power Park. Admission is free for shoppers. Sellers can purchase a table the day of the yard sale for $35. The table fee includes one 8-foot table and four box-seat tickets for today's baseball game. Concessions will be available along with free access to the Fun Zone for kids 12 and under. There also will be a variety of activities and entertainment available throughout the day such as cornhole and Rock Band. The Power will deliver all unsold items to charity upon the vendor's request if they wish. For information, call 304-344-BATS.
CIVIL WAR BATTLE RE-ENACTMENT: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. Albans City Park. St. Francis School children, ages 5-12, will join Zane, a member of the CS 5th Infantry, who will re-enact the Battle of Cedar Creek. Angela's Catering will provide "real soldiers" Civil War Food and a picnic lunch with drinks. Wear period costumes if you wish. All children are invited to participate. The event is free, however, donations are appreciated.
