Richard Parsons Jr. pastor of Second Baptist Church and HCA School Administrator announced the changes would involve grades 7-12. They will be using computer-based classes for three to four subjects; the remaining classes will be traditional classroom teaching. Heritage Christian Academy is also opening its doors for this computer-based education to home-schooled children in Jackson County and surrounding areas. Students would be allowed to participate in the school's sports programs and HCA's activities and functions, as well as be a graduate of HCA. Mount Olivet District Baptist Church Music Convention 58th Annual Session: will be hosted by Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 11744 MacCorkle Ave., Chesapeake, today and Sunday. A Youth Session begins at 7 p.m. today. Youth choirs, liturgical dancers and instruments will be featured. Jason J. Jackson, youth director, will teach songs to be presented during the annual session at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Deacon Charles F. Cole Jr., will present hymns in old and new versions to the adults in another room today.
