Critical Mass Bike Ride: will be held at 6 p.m. beginning at the ReStore, 815 Young St. This is a family-friendly, casual and fun bike ride that will be less than 4 miles and serves as a kickoff to the Kanawha Valley Sustainability Fair happening this Saturday at the ReStore. FUTURE EVENTS

Charleston Police Department: will conduct a child safety seat checkup event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Royal/Subaru, 1901 Patrick St. Plaza. Child safety seats will be checked for proper installation.

Malden Public Service District Board of Commissioners: will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the District Office in the administration building of the treatment facility in Tad.

Chelyan Public Service District Board Members: will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the district office of the treatment facility on W.Va. 61.

Unit 73 of the American Legion Auxiliary: will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the local hall in St. Albans. Bring an item for the food pantry.
