JEFFERSON, W.Va. -- A Kanawha County teenager was arrested early Thursday after police allegedly found him breaking and entering in Jefferson.

Neighbors living near a business called R.E.M. at 6404 MacCorkle Ave. in Jefferson called police after hearing glass breaking at the building around 1 a.m. Thursday, said Lt. Bryan Stover of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies arriving at the business a short time later found Quentin Clark-Hairston, 18, still inside the building.

Stover said deputies believe Clark-Hairston got inside by throwing a large rock through a window.

Clark-Hairston was arrested without incident and charged with breaking and entering. Bond was set at $5,000.
