Raleigh man in critical condition after motorcycle wreck

FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. -- A Raleigh County man was in critical condition Wednesday after he lost control of his motorcycle on W.Va. 41 shortly before noon.

Ernest Woolwine, 56, of Coal City, was driving a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle south from Prince toward Danese in Fayette County when he flipped the vehicle over while trying to make a turn, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.

Woolwine was transported to CAMC General Hospital in a HealthNet helicopter. The Sheriff's Department is still investigating the accident.
