Communications and Marketing manager Katrina Harmon said the process for putting together a season at the Clay Center is arduous.
"Our director of performing arts, Lakin Cook, reviews who is touring and passes this information along to our performing arts advisory committee," she said.
"They meet monthly, discuss and narrow the list down. We also take suggestions from patrons through feedback surveys."
Finally, a final list of possibilities is put together and the actual costs of bringing a performer in are evaluated. It's an ongoing process and efforts are already underway to look into what the 2010-11 season might bring.
