NAUGATUCK, W.Va. -- A man was killed and another was flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital after a two-car collision in Mingo County Friday afternoon.

The wreck happened shortly after 3 p.m. on U.S. 52 between Naugatuck and East Kermit near Lake Sheridan, according to a Mingo County Sheriff's dispatcher.

The drivers were the only people in the vehicles at the time of the crash, the dispatcher said.

The Mingo County Sheriff's Department is investigating the cause of the collision.
