FUTURE EVENTS
St. Albans Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Mayoral Public Forum at 7 p.m. Monday at The Alban at Olde Main Plaza. Meet candidates Richard Milam and Dick Callaway. Questions will be prepared by the Chamber. Appalachian Electric Power and City National Bank will sponsor the event.
St. Albans Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the basement of the St. Albans Municipal Building, 1499 MacCorkle Ave. For information, call 304-727-4062.
Women Veterans of America, Kanawha Valley Chapter 24, will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the South Charleston Public Library, 312 Fourth Ave.
South Charleston Public Library Board will hold its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the library, 312 Fourth Ave.
Chelyan Public Service District in Cabin Creek will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday to discuss the O&M Agreement with Mayor Douglas, the members of Pratt Town Council and sewer board officials. For information, call 304-595-2203.
Cub Scouts who belong to any BSA council with Cub Scout Packs in the state are invited to participate in the fourth annual W.Va. Pinewood Derby Championships, March 27 and 28 at the Meadowbrook Mall in Bridgeport. Scouts do not have to be winners of a den, pack or any kind of regional race to qualify. Trophies will be awarded to the top 12 finishers in each division. For a complete list of rules for each race visit http://wvpinewoodderby.com. Registration fee for all racers in all divisions is $10. The first 200 racers to register get an official State Derby T-shirt. Adults can purchase State Derby T-shirts for $10 each.
