Two Sissonville men arrested by deputies
Two men from Sissonville were arrested Wednesday night after Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a 'shots fired' call on Legg Fork Road.
Deputies responded to the area and saw a blue Ford Thunderbird with two suspicious males inside, according to the department.
They searched the driver, Eric Counts, 22, of Sissonville and found a small amount of marijuana and numerous prescription pills, deputies said.
Deputies also found a loaded handgun in the passenger side of the vehicle, which belonged to Odrey Paul Reed, 38, of Sissonville.
Reed has two felony convictions, each of which prohibits him from having a firearm. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and was placed in the South Central Regional Jail on a $5,000 surety bond, according to the release.
Counts was charged with simple possession of marijuana and driving with a revoked license. He was released after posting bail.
Two from Gauley Bridge face drug charges
GAULEY BRIDGE - Two people from Gauley Bridge were arrested early Wednesday with more than $10,000 in illegal prescription drugs and marijuana, police said.
Richard Preast and Brandi Underwood, both of Gauley Bridge, were arrested by Gauley Bridge police for possession of more than $10,000 in illegal drugs and marijuana, along with weapons, records of drug sales and a considerable amount of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release.

Preast and Underwood were charged with sale of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substances, simple possession, conspiracy and drug paraphernalia charges, according to the release. Preast also was charged with felony possession of a firearm.
Both were transported to the Southern Regional Jail to await arraignment.
Man robs pharmacy in Harts, flees on ATV
HARTS -The West Virginia State Police is searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy in Harts Thursday afternoon and fled on an ATV.
The man robbed the Harts Pharmacy on W.Va. 10 in the Harts Creek area shortly after noon today, according to a State Police dispatcher in Lincoln County.
The suspect, a white male wearing camouflage clothing and a mask, allegedly had a shotgun and was able to get away with 100 OxyContin pills, the dispatcher said.
The suspect was last seen headed north on W.Va. 10 on a four-wheeler.
Troopers had not found the man as of Thursday evening.
