FUTURE EVENTS

  • Pinch Volunteer Fire Department will have a photo shoot fundraiser from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Pinch Fire Station. The $15 donation will help purchase rescue equipment. A free 10x13 portrait will be given to donors. Walk-ins are welcome.
  • Children's Therapy Clinic will have its annual Night with the Stars Oscar Party at 7 p.m. Sunday at Embassy Suites, with a live big-screen broadcast of the Academy Awards. Children's Therapy Clinic client Brandon Legg has donated his artwork for the silent auction. The evening will also feature a Hollywood atmosphere, red carpet entrance, paparazzi, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and games, including a Celebrity Costume Contest, Oscar Trivia and Pick the Winners. The clinic will honor Harvey Creasy and John Fisher for their years of dedication. For tickets, call 304-342-9515.
  • Rho Master Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at O'Charley's. The movie has yet to be determined.
  • South Charleston Public Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the library, 312 Fourth Ave.
  • MountainHeart Child Care Services will conduct professional development sessions on Monday at the Fayette County Department of Health and Human Resources, Oak Hill, for family day care providers, facility providers and day care center staff. "But I Saw It on TV," will be the topic for the session from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and "What's Wrong with This Picture" will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is required.   • Tyler Mountain YMCA will offer Zumba, a combination of exercises and dance, from 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays. Beginning and advanced classes. Call 304-776-3323.
  • State Board of Registration for Foresters will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. Monday at the Division of Forestry's State Office Conference Room, Guthrie Agricultural Complex, Building 13. The board will review registration applications.
