CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A juried exhibition of West Virginia State University student artwork opened Feb. 7 at the Capitol Center Theater on Summers Street.

The exhibition features a cross section of different artistic styles and media, designed to show the variety of courses offered at WVSU, said Paula Clendenin, professor of art. Pieces were chosen for exhibition by a panel of WVSU faculty members.

The exhibition is expected to remain on display for the next six weeks. The Capitol Center Theater is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, during which time visitors may ask a staff member to open the gallery. Call 304-342-6522 for more information.
